Jabalpur Recruitment 2014 www.wcr.indianrailways.gov.in  for Group D Posts :

Western Central Railways (WCR), Jabalpur has issued a notification mentioning the recruitment of employees for the Group-D posts. Applications are invited from job searchers who are interested in railway jobs and possessing the below mentioned education qualification. 

According to the issued notification there is around 4517 vacancies existing in the designations of Trackmen Helper, Khalasi, Parcel Portal, Safaiwala and Assistant Points man. All these vacancies come under the cadre of Group-D Vacancies. Interested aspirants may send the applications to the concerned address before the last date.

Education Qualification:
Candidates who are passed 10th standard and possessing ITI course in relevant discipline obtained from a NCVT approved institution are eligible to apply for this job.

Age Limit:
As on 1st January 2014 candidates who are not below 18 years and not more than 33 years of age are invited to apply. Relaxation in this age limit will be given to reserved category applicants on following the reservation norms.

Selection Process:
All applicants will undergo written test conducted by railway department. Candidates who are performing well in this exam will be shortlisted and invited for trade test.

Pay Scale:
Candidates who are placed as an employee in Indian Railway at Group-D cadre posts will get a monthly salary ranges from Rs.5200-20200/-. In addition to this they will also get the Grade Pay and other allowances.

Application Fee:
General and OBC category applicants have to pay an application fee of Rs.100/- by means of Crossed Demand Draft. All other category applicants are exempted from paying exam fees.
