Admit Card 2013 Download for Civil Services Main Examination: The Union
Public Services Commission conducts the Civil Services Examination for
recruiting IAS, IPS and IFS every year. This examination will be conducted in
three stages initially the preliminary exam takes place, followed by that the
Main exam and the Personal Interview will be conducted. By this year the main
exam is scheduled on 1st week of December 2013. To appear for this exam
candidates have to take the authorised admit card along with them which is
issued by UPSC.
Necessity of Admit Card:
The admit card issued by UPSC contains many important information which are necessary for the authentication of candidates in the exam hall. It contains the enrolment or register number, photo of the participant, exam dates and schedule, exam centre details and the instructions to be followed by the candidates are the information listed in the admit card. So carrying the admit card with you while appearing for the examination is necessary.
How to Get Admit Card:
One month prior to the date of examination UPSC uploads the printable copy of the admit card in the official download portal of UPSC. The download link for the admit card expires before one day prior to the exam to start. The downloading instructions are listed in the steps below.

- Log on to the website "www.upscadmitcard.nic.in".
- From there choose the link named with UPSC Main exam.
- Immediately a new page opens, on that page enter your details.
- Candidates can either enter their Name with Date of Birth or Register Number.
- By providing any on these details candidates can download the admit Card.
- After downloading immediately take a printout of it for providing the exam centre.
