 Indian Navy invited applications from unmarried male candidates for enrolment as Sailors for senior secondary recruits (SSR) 2014 batch. The course will be commencing from August 2014. Selection Procedure 
The final selection will be made on the basis of candidates’ performances in Written Exam, Physical Fitness Test (FTT) and Medical Standard Test taken together. The candidates who qualify in all respects will be short listed depending upon the vacancies. The candidate will be selected on all India merit basis. The UPSC has released the Exam Calendar for 2014 .The IAS Preliminary Test will be conducted on 24 August 2014. There has not been any shift in the pattern and syllabus of exam is announced by the UPSC hence by and large the syllabus will be same as of IAS Preliminary Testy 2013. We are providing the syllabus of the previous year as there is no change in that.  The UPSC has not notified any syllabus but we are anticipating no change in the existing syllabus and hence providing the same to the candidates so that they should not wait for the notification and start the preparation now.
