Job Description: 
GAIL (India) Limited, a Maharatna PSU, invites applications from professionals in Finance & Accounts (F&A) discipline, to fill up the following posts as per category wise vacancies indicated against each post: 
 
Dy. Manager (F&A- Treasury) E-3 Grade 
 
Qualification :  
 
CA/ ICWA OR B.Com with minimum 60% Marks and Two years MBA with specialization in Finance with minimum 65% Marks. OR Graduation (B.A.) with Honours in Economics with minimum 60% Marks and Two years MBA with specialization in Finance with minimum 65% Marks. OR Graduation (B.A./ B.Sc.) with Honours in Maths with minimum 60% Marks and Two years MBA with specialization in Finance with minimum 65% Marks. OR Graduation (B.A./ B.Sc.) with Honours in Statistics with minimum 60% Marks and Two years MBA with specialization in Finance with minimum 65% Marks. OR Graduate in Engineering i.e. B.E./ B.Tech. with minimum 60% Marks and Two years MBA with specialization in Finance with minimum 65% Marks.Candidates possessing CA/ ICWA qualification should hold Associate Membership of ICAI/ ICWAI. 
 
Experience:  
 
Minimum 04 years’ Post Qualification Executive experience in line (including experience as ET/ MT) in a PSU/ Large Private Sector Organization, in one or both the following two specific areas:- (i) Mobilization of Long-term Loans and Working Capital Funds from Domestic as well as Foreign Markets. (ii) Hedging products/ Trading derivatives (Commodity and Forex). Preference would be given to candidates having at least 02 years experience in Trading derivatives (Commodity and Forex) out of minimum essential 04 years experience as indicated above. Candidates should have domain knowledge in Forex and Treasury functions with general understanding of Economic Indicators, Domestic and Foreign Exchange Market and Financial Products, Credit Risk Assessment, Hedging Products, experience in managing relationship with Banks. Should be fluent in MS Excel and should possess good verbal and written communication skills with analytical approach. Experience in a MNC or large corporation (including Banks) of repute will be preferred. Candidates working in Govt./ Public Sector must have minimum one year experience in the next lower Pay Scale or next lower equivalent Pay Scale.

(ii) Indirect Tax Matters – VAT/ Excise/ Service Tax/ Assessment/ Proceedings/ Compliances, etc. Preference would be given to candidates possessing at least 02 years experience in dealing Transfer pricing and International Taxation matters out of minimum essential 04 years experience as indicated above. Candidates should have domain knowledge in Corporate TaxLaws- Provisions and Rules, Accounting concepts and Standards with general understanding of Economic Indicators. Should be fluent in MS Excel and should possess good verbal and written communication skills with analytical approach. Experience in a MNC or large corporation of repute will be preferred. Candidates working in Govt./ Public Sector must have minimum one year experience in the next lower Pay Scale or next lower equivalent Pay Scale.

SC/ ST and PWD candidates are exempted from payment of application fees. However, for claiming exemption in application fees, SC/ ST candidates will have to attach an attested copy of SC/ ST certificate as applicable, issued by the Competent Authority in the prescribed format and PWD candidates claiming exemption in application fee will have to attach an attested copy of disability certificate in the prescribed format issued by Competent Authority at the time of forwarding hard copy of the Application Form as mentioned below

Candidate Profile: 
 1. Thorough knowledge of test case design and strategy. Ability to critically review requirements and functional specifications. 
2. Excellent knowledge of software testing techniques and test case development; can easily determine what test case is required for various testing scenarios. 
3. Basic knowledge of software development languages and tools such as C++, Java, and SQL. 
4. Basic knowledge of relational databases, preferably Oracle. 
5. Familiarity with database design and/or testing. 
6. Comfortable in supporting multiple concurrent tasks. 
7. Knowledge of clinical data management process for FDA regulated companies is a plus. Familiarity with FDA regulations such as 21 CFR Part 11 and GxP desirable.
